Election & Voter Information
Hubbard County strives to ensure that the voter registration and election process is provided in accordance with applicable laws and rules. We are responsible for administering federal, state, and county elections. We also provide voter registration and administrative support for townships, cities, and school districts that administer their local elections.

Absentee and Early Voting
All absentee and early voting occurs at the Auditor/Treasurer’s department on the first floor of the Hubbard County Government Center, located at 301 Court Ave in Park Rapids.
General Election
Absentee voting begins September 18th and continues until Monday, November 2nd.
Voting hours are from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, with additional voting hours on Saturday, October 24th, 31st and Sunday November 1st from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. We will also have extended hours Tuesday October 27th until 7:00 pm and Monday, November 2nd until 5:00 pm.
Early voting (voters are able to deposit their ballot directly into a tabulator) begins October 16th and continues until 5:00 pm on Monday, November 2nd. Hours for early voting are the same as absentee voting hours.
*All county offices will be closed on September 7th in observance of Labor Day.
