Heartland Park Basketball Court Improvements Complete, Court Now Open

Hubbard County has completed improvements to the basketball court at Heartland Park in Park Rapids, and the court is now open for public use.

The project addressed a safety concern along the perimeter of the court, where additional concrete slabs were installed around the outer edges to eliminate uneven transitions and reduce the risk of injury to users. New chain-link fencing was installed behind both hoops to better contain balls during play, and both basketball hoops were replaced.

The court is located within Heartland Park and remains free and open to the public during regular park hours. Hubbard County thanks residents for their patience during construction and looks forward to seeing the community enjoy the updated court for years to come.
